A MANCHESTER City supporter from Oldham breached a banning order by attending a game at Everton's Goodison Park and threw a lighter close to the pitch, a court has heard.
Brandon Holmes, of Claremont Street in Failsworth, was sentenced for these offences at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
On February 26, Holmes attended the Premier League clash between Everton and Manchester City at Goodison Park, which ended with a 1-0 win for the Sky Blues.
By doing so, the 24-year-old breached a banning order which was handed down by Tameside Magistrates' Court around eight months ago.

On Wednesday, Holmes was sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, plus a fresh football banning order of five years.
The magistrates ordered him to pay around £200 in court costs.
