A TEENAGER from Oldham was last week fined hundreds of pounds for cycling with no front light on his bike.
Jack Holt, of Roundthorn Road, was sentenced in his absence at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 16.
Back in August, Holt rode on Whetstone Hill Road, also in Oldham, with no front light on his bike.

This is against the law between sunset and sunrise, when all cyclists must use a white front light and a red rear light.
For the offence, magistrates fined the 18-year-old £220, and also ordered him to cover costs of £124.
The total of £344 is to be paid by the middle of April.
