OLDHAMER Nick Grimshaw has shared the journey of his glittering career with students in Chadderton to inspire them to "achieve their dreams".

North Chadderton School said they hosted a BBC Share Your Story event in which the former BBC Radio 1 DJ spoke about his previous roles with TV presenter Katie Thistleton.

The Chadderton Hall Road school shared pictures on social media.

A school spokesman said: "Today (Wednesday) we had the great honour of welcoming the BBC Share Your Story with Nick Grimshaw and Katie Thistleton.

"Nick shared his career path with our students and inspired them to work hard to achieve their dreams."
