PLANS have been approved to turn an Oldham home into an 11-person house in multiple occupation (HMO).
An application to convert a property on Frederick Street into a HMO was sent to the council in September last year.

The building has already been converted to provide HMO accommodation for six HMO units over three levels, a planning document with the proposals said.
The document added that retrospective approval was being sought for the change of use of the building as the HMO licence is to provide accommodation for up to 11 occupants.
No objections were made against the application.
After examining the blueprints, the local authority decided to give the plans the go-ahead.

In a decision notice, the council said the “sustainable development” would improve and maintain the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area.
