A FURTHER 195 coronavirus cases have been found in Oldham, figures have revealed.
Government data also shows there were 1,736 Covid-19 cases recorded in the borough in the seven days up to January 26.
The rate of cases per 100,000 people in Oldham in the week up to that date was 730.6, significantly lower than the UK average of 1,021.2.
Statistics published this afternoon, Wednesday, reveals that 88,085 more cases have been logged across the UK.
A total of 534 more people in Britain died after testing positive for the virus in the previous 28 days.
