AN extra 263 coronavirus cases have been found in Oldham, figures have revealed.
Data released by the government on Thursday also shows that the rate per 100,000 people who tested positive for Covid-19 in the seven days up to January 15 was 910.7, lower than the UK average of 922.
There were 2,164 cases in the week up to that date.
Meanwhile, across the UK, in the last 24 hours a total of 107,364 cases were discovered.
A further 330 people died after having the virus in the previous 28 days.
