MORE than 300 extra coronavirus cases have been found in Oldham, the latest daily figures have found.
Data released at 4pm today, Tuesday, shows that 332 Covid-19 cases were discovered in the borough in the past 24 hours.
There were 2,429 cases found in Oldham in the seven days up to January 13, with the number of people who tested positive in the week up to that date per 100,000 in the town calculated at 1,022.2.
That was above the UK average of 985.5 for January 13.
Across Britain, 94,432 infections were revealed in the latest figures.
A further 438 people died after testing positive for the virus in the previous 28 days.
