ANOTHER 390 coronavirus cases have been discovered in Oldham today, Thursday.
Data released by the government also shows that the rate per 100,000 people in the borough who tested positive for Covid-19 in the week up to January 8 was 2,019.5, higher than the UK average of 1,700.9.
A total of 4,799 cases were found in the seven days up to that date.
Across the UK, 109,133 cases were found in the last 24 hours.
A further 335 deaths have been recorded in which the deceased tested positive for the virus in the previous 28 days.
Overall, more than 36m in the UK have received their booster vaccinations.
