The countdown to Christmas is on and what better way to spend it than at a festive market.
Due to the pandemic many Christmas markets did not go ahead meaning this year they are back with a bang and promise to be bigger and better than ever.
The markets are filled with good food, local products and entertainment meaning there is something for all ages.
There are markets all over the area and we've rounded up the best ones for you to visit to get you in the Christmassy spirit.
Which markets are on in Lacnashire?
Manchester
When: November 12 – December 23
Where: Located all over the city centre, but the main hub is at Piccadilly Gardens
One of the biggest markets in the region, the famous Manchester markets are returning to the city with more than 300 festive stalls selling food, drinks and items that are perfect for Christmas gifts.
Croston
When: December 5, 12pm - 5.30pm
Where: Croston Village with Santa's Grotto at Croston Sports Club
Father Christmas is making a visit to Croston this year from 12pm, alongside carol singers and a brass band.
There will be a light switch on at 5pm and a prize draw from 4.30pm.
Lancaster
When: November 19, 20 & 21 3pm-9pm
Where: Lancaster Brewery
Stalls at the Lancaster Christmas market will feature lots of crafts and gifts perfect for festive stocking fillers.
Chorley
When: November 25 - 28 & December 3 - 12
Where: Heskin Hall
Lots of artisan stalls will feature at the Heskin Hall markets, as well as a choir, children's rides and an appearance by Santa.
Samlesbury
When: November 28 11am - 4pm
Where: Samlesbury Hall
A travelling Dutch organ will perform with local singer Dawn Vickers.
There will be delicious treats from Dottie's Wafflery and hot drinks served at the hall.
