Therme bosses have said they expect 1.5m people to visit the site once it opens.
It will also include a bio-diverse garden with petal shaped terrace and pools suitable for all seasons.
Richard Land, chief development officer of Therme Group UK, said: "Therme Manchester will redefine city wellbeing, enhancing mental and physical health through an experience based in water and nature.
“It will offer a unique holiday at home, that acts as a catalyst for healthy lifestyles.”
The group have said they hope the new resort will be a “landmark development” for the city and become an “iconic symbol of the north-west.”
