The following cases have recently been before the courts involving people from Oldham or offences which took place in the area.

These cases called at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court.

Luke Johnson admitted driving a Renault Kangoo on High Barn Road in Oldham under the influence of alcohol.

The 35-year-old was found to have 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in July last year.

The legal limit is 35.

He also admitted failing to attend at court after being released on bail.

The man from Alison Street in Shaw was jailed for 14 days, banned from the roads for two years.

He was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work win the next year.

Faramita Dinca was fined after driving a BMW in Oldham without a licence or insurance.

The 28-year-old carried out the offences in October last year on Woodstock Street.

The man from Honeywell Lane in Oldham was fined £770 and given six points on a future licence.

Gino Lapenna was jailed for ten weeks for the breach of a non-molestation order.

The 35-year-old went to an address he was forbidden to attend in June this year.

The man from King Street in Oldham also breached a bail condition not to attend an address in Manchester in April this year.

Michael Wallace was fined and banned from the roads after driving a Peugeot in Tameside without insurance.

The 39-year-old carried out the offence in October last year.

The man from Palm Street in Oldham was fined £440 and banned from driving for two years.

The following case called at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

Keani Miller was banned from driving for two years for failing to provide a specimen of breath when ordered to do so by police in Oldham.

The 26-year-old admitted the offence which took place in January this year.

The woman from Lightbowne Road in New Moston was also ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work within the next year
