A WOMAN has been left with serious injuries after crashing into a wall in Chadderton.
Around 5am this morning, Sunday, police were called to reports that a silver Volkswagon Golf had hit a wall on Hollinwood Avenue, Chadderton.
The 31-year-old woman driving the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. She remains in a stable condition.
Officers are now appealing for information, and are urging anyone who may have seen anything to get in touch.
Sergeant Jim Burnett, of GMP’s road policing unit, said: “Sadly this incident has left a woman with very serious injuries, and we are keen to establish the full circumstances behind this collision.
“I would like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone who may have any information or dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident or shortly before to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”
No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
Hollinwood Avenue was closed whilst investigation work was carried out, but has since been reopened.
