POLICE are appealing for the public's help after two men were attacked in a pub car park in Hollinwood last night (Sunday) with one victim suffering serious head and facial injuries.
Thee incident occurred at around 8.30pm in the car park of the Britannia Tavern, in Hollins Road
Shortly after a silver hatchback vehicle with several males onboard left the car park and drove towards the Limeside area, and around the same time a male ran from the car park into the housing estate, according to the GMP Failsworth and Hollinwood Facebook page.
They said: "We are asking for your help with an incident that occurred on the car park of the Britannia Tavern, Hollins Road, Hollinwood.
"We know there were several people in the vicinity at the time of the attack.
"If you can help identify any of those involved or the vehicle please contact us via our 101 non-emergency number or via GMP's 'live chat' facility, quoting Incident number 2004, of 3rd March 2019."
