A missing Leeds man who was last seen in Oldham has been found dead.
Steven, whose last name was not published by police, had been seen around Crompton Moor last Sunday.
But Greater Manchester Police has now said the 40-year-old was found dead yesterday, Thursday.
This morning, Friday, a force spokesperson said: "Sadly, Steven who was missing from Leeds and was last seen around Crompton Moor in Oldham on Sunday was found deceased yesterday (Thursday).
"His family are being supported by specialised officers and have asked for privacy at this time.
"Our officers would like to thank those who helped in sharing our appeal despite the tragic outcome."
